December 1

10am-11am Snow and Story at Prince William Ice Center.  Toddlers and preschoolers, includes 40 minutes on ice, cookies, hot cocoa, and a story.  $8 per child, reservations required.  Call 703-730-8423.

10am-12pm Christmas Parade, Old Town Manassas

1:00pm-3:00pm Manassas Mall Christmas Parade Join the Osbourn High School Band as they lead the annual Manassas Mall Santa Parade! Join Santa, Mrs Claus and all of her holiday helpers as they spread holiday cheer throughout the mall. Featuring face painting, stilt walkers, balloon making elves and more!

4:30pm Coles District Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Historic Lucasville School. The event is FREE and will feature a musical performance, refreshments and pictures with Santa! We will also be accepting donations of new, unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots at the event.

5:00pm-7:30pm Manassas Chorale “Rejoice and Be Merry” at the Hylton Center.  $18-20. Ticket Info Here.

2pm-3pm Christmas Carols at Central Library. In the spirit of Christmas celebration of family and community values, the United States Navy Band Brass Quartet will delight us with an afternoon of Christmas tunes. Bring your Santa hats and enjoy some light snacks and refreshments right after the concert.

5:30-8:30pm Manassas St. Thomas Drive Through Living Nativity scenes from the Christmas Story in Scripture depicted by live people and even some real animals!

1-4pm Holiday Ice Show at PW Ice. Come watch local figure skaters perform their holiday programs.  Admission is free.  Prince William Ice Center is collecting non-perishable food items for the ACTs food pantry at the entrance.

10am-11am Gingerbread Workshop at IKEA. Includes gingerbread supplies, free kid’s meal, and ‘FIKA’ for the parent that accompanies the child. Workshop is $12.99 per child with IKEA Family card, $16.99 regular price
Tickets can be purchased at the Restaurant or Bistro. Space is limited to 20 kids per workshop.

11am-12pm Twas the Night Before Christmas Snow and Story. Join Santa and Mrs Claus at our Twas the Night Before Christmas Snow and Story. It is designed to provide toddler and pre-school age children a safe and fun time playing on our ice, with snow and a variety of toys. After 40-minutes on the ice, enjoy a reading of Twas the Night Before Christmas and hot chocolate and cookies. The cost is $10 per child and reservations must be made in advance online at www.pwice.com. Space is limited.  703-730-8423.

12:10-1:40pm Skate with Santa at PW Ice. Wear your Ugly Christmas Sweater and enjoy holiday music while skating with Santa and Mrs Claus!  Bring your camera. $8 plus skate rental.
