Holiday_Fireworks_2019_Website_Event_Image_300x225November 16 Holiday Fireworks Spectacular at Virginia Gateway Join us on the Plaza at Promenade on Saturday, November 16th, from 4:30 – 7:30pm, as we kick off the holiday season with fun for the whole family. Plus, light up the night sky with a dazzling fireworks show! Fireworks begin at 7pm (viewable from the Plaza at Promenade). Visit with Santa & Mrs. Claus. Horse and carriage rides from 3:00 to 5:00pm only (Please note that there is a $3 cash donation per rider; 100% of the proceeds will benefit local non-profit organization, Women Giving Back) Donate a new, unwrapped toy/gift to Women Giving Back for children and teens in need this holiday season. Volunteers will be onsite to collect these items. Entertainment, giveaways, balloon twisters* and more! Entrance to this event is free and open to the public.

November 25th SANTA TRAIN TICKET DAY (Monday before Thanksgiving)

November 29th Tree Lighting at Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center 6-8pm. Those Funny Little People will perform, free carriage rides when you donate a canned good.

Santa-Lights-Poster-2019December 6 Santa Lights Manassas, also known as the Tree Lighting, has been a fixture in the Manassas community for over 26 years! It takes place on the Friday night before the Christmas Parade beginning at 5:15p.m. TD Bank is our official sponsor of the night.  The magic of the evening begins with holiday musical performances and then Santa arrives at the Manassas Depot on the VRE train shortly after 6 p.m. After Santa lights the tree, he greets all the children and listens to their holiday wishes.  Families can visit the Manassas Museum and store, as well as enjoy free wagon rides to get into the holiday spirit. The Harris Pavilion Ice Rink will be open for business as well as the downtown shops and restaurants.

Cookie decorating, craft and gift bazaar, holiday carols, s’mores by the bonfire, local food vendors, and of course a visit by Santa! This event is free and everyone is welcome!

December 14 Occoquan WinterFest The Town of Occoquan will participate in the fifth annual WinterFest event on Saturday, December 14, 2019 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Historic Occoquan.  WinterFest in Occoquan is fun for the whole family! Visitors will enjoy heart-warming fire pits with marshmallow roasting, sing holiday carols with the Woodbridge Community Choir, sample free hot chocolate, and so much more! Santa Claus arrives via boat at Mamie Davis Park at 2 p.m. and will be escorted to Town Hall where he will sit for photos until 4 p.m. when the other WinterFest festivities begin.

Our annual Light Parade is a highlight and a resident favorite. The parade begins at 5:45 pm at the intersection of Manassas Dr and Carondelet dr and ends at the Manassas Park Community Center.
