Let’s talk about me, shall we? February is a big month for me! I will celebrate what I refer to as my “One-year-didn’t-die-aversary” (not sure what I mean? Click here for that story), my 30th birthday, and four years of this crazy website. So, I’m throwing a party.
A big party.
At first, I thought about doing a very sleek and upscale Blogiversary. Something where people dress up and go to a winery. Then I remembered who I am and what I do, and I decided to have a giant kids fest. But I kept the name I’d come up with. Brain Tumor/Cancer ribbons are grey (like grey matter), but that’s boring and I believe that glitter is a core value, so hence “Silver Sparkles” was born. This is going to be such a fun event, and all the money raised is going to The National Brain Tumor Society/Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure.

I have opportunities for sponsorship at almost any level you can think of. If you’d like to put your name on our event, but can’t attend, you can sponsor the event itself, individual performances, or just because you want to be a part of this fantastic program. It’s awesome and focused advertising for the families you want to reach. This also gets you in our gift bags, going to each of the first 100 families in the door.
2. Host a Table!
Tables at the event are available for businesses, organizations, companies, etc. who would like to meet the families of Prince William County! Tables must have an interactive component, whether it’s a carnival-type game with prize, a facepainter, a craft, or anything else you can dream up. 3. Be a part of our Raffles or Gift Bags
We’ll be doing Raffles throughout the day, and we also have swag bags that will be going home with the first 100 families through the door. If you’d like to be involved in either, please email me for details. Raffle tickets will be available the day of the event.
4. Come! February 22, 2014 from 2-6pm!

until February, when that price will increase. We will have a ton of
fun activities for you and your children, and I really hope that you’ll
join us! You can purchase your tickets through Eventbrite. Please note that tickets will NOT BE SOLD AT THE DOOR due to venue rules.
