School Options Seminar Wrap-Up

Thank you so much to those who came out for our first “School Options Seminar.”  We had a very informative day with lots of different ways you can make school work for your family. Thank you to the following organizations who came out, and especially to Christ Chapel Academy who hosted us in their amazing facility!

Animated Child- Offering both a nature-based preschool program and various STEAM and language supplement activities and classes.

CHESS Homeschool Classes– CHESS provides courses that enrich the homeschool. Students benefit from working among their peers in a personal, small-group environment that encourages excellence, led by experienced, homeschool-friendly teachers who evaluate their work and challenge them to think.

Christ Chapel Academy– We empower our students to compete in multiple athletic offerings, academic endeavors, and through our award winning fine arts programs. We look forward to exposing your children to the possibilities within them!

Classical Conversations (Multiple PWC Groups)- Share the love of learning through a Christian worldview and fellowship with other families. Our families thrive using three keys to a great education: Classical, Christian, and Community.

HOPE Homeschool Group Manassas– HOPE is a Christ-centered, non-profit organization seeking to glorify God by providing fellowship, encouragement, and support to homeschooling parents to help them successfully teach and minister to their children. We offer educational, social, and family-oriented activities in an atmosphere that promotes biblical standards and values.

Mathnasium– When math makes sense, kids leap way ahead – whether they started out far behind or already ahead in math. Our formula for teaching kids math, the Mathnasium Method™has transformed the way kids learn math for over a decade across 800+ centers in the US and Canada.

Manassas Adventist Prep School– The M.A.P.S. family exists to show children Jesus, nurture their love for Him and others, teach them to think, and empower them to serve.

NVHAA Centurions Homeschool Athletics– NVHAA is a legitimate middle school and high school (varsity and junior varsity) sports assocation established primarily for homeschooled young men and women ages 12-18 who do not otherwise have the opportunity to play competitive middle and high school sports.

St. John Paul the Great Catholic High School– We strive to provide an environment where students can grow in the image of Jesus Christ while developing intellectual, theological, and moral virtues.

Virginia Virtual Academy Powered by K12– Virginia Virtual Academy, a tuition-free program, awakens the power of learning in every student through a personalized program of engaging courses, caring teachers, and a vibrant school community.

WHEAT Homeschool Group Woodbridge– The purpose of WHEAT is to share information, provide support for homeschooling, and to enrich those families spiritually, academically, and socially. We believe in the God-given right of parents to teach their children at home. While the majority of members are Christian and seek God’s guidance through prayer at the beginning of all meetings and many activities, WHEAT is open to all.
