Fairfax, Virginia- January 20, 2018: The National Capital Mom Conference (NCMC), an up-and-coming organization, has launched an all-day event for mothers in the Washington DC Metropolitan area. The conference is being held at the Waterford Reception Center in Springfield Virginia on Saturday April 14th, 2018 and will feature vendors and exhibitors, seminars, giveaways with prizes, food, and beverages.
“Being able to give back to the community and provide a fun, engaging event for our local mothers has been amazing” says Rebecca Link, the conference’s director. She further states, “The responses we have gotten from the community have been so overwhelming that we are turning this in to a 501(c)3 organization so we can continue to serve the metro area and connect mothers to events, businesses, and other resources.”
Rebecca Link is a native to Fairfax Virginia and lives in the county with her husband and son. She partners with many other organizations and is very active in the mom-community running various groups and events and is passionate about the organization’s mission of “Bringing Mothers Together”.
The National Capital Mom Conference will have something for every mom who is looking to have a great day, visit vendor booths, participate in workshops and seminars, and meet amazing local moms and experts. The day is kicked off with an engaging keynote speaker who discusses the journey of “Becoming MOM”. This will be followed by 3 break-out sessions on a wide-range of topics about motherhood- from feeding to sleeping to nutrition, to behavior and communication- this conference will leave its attendees feeling empowered, enthusiastic, and in control of their lives and ready to tackle whatever obstacle (or toy) is thrown at them!
